Richard, you are one of the MOST giving people I know. Between you and your loving wife you have shared many, many hours of your time entertaining me and my "family". You travelled many kilometers to entertain us at our o/n mid winter when we took over the beautiful country estate. Marilyn thank you so much also for the transportation of Richard and the instruments. I am so lucky to have your family in my life. Love you all. xoxo

Hi Richard.. have just found your site on FB .. was delighted too.. I use to work in the Methodist Childrens Home on Harewood Road with your Aunty Margorie... We were both Family Mothers back then.... She was very very proud of her Nephew and so was all the staff... your music was awesome then and soo thrilled that you have continued doing what you are soo talented at and enjoy... and yes soo happy that you have added a lovely wife and two beautifull daughters.. have often reflected back to our yrs in the childrens home... Your Aunt took me to her brothers place your Dad where you lived.. he wasnt home at the time.. but you made us both very welcome and i was amazed when you showed us your huge collection of records then and how you knew every name of them and exactly where to find them.. you were a total marvel..know you wont remember me.. but when I lived in chch all those yrs ago some of us staff from the childrens home use to go the diff places where you were playing and enjoyed listening and feeling very proud... thankyou Richard .. just thought you may like to read some of the memories from the 70s... and glad you have cont to grow from strength to strength...my very best wishes to you your wife and family ...
